Quality Assurance Intern

As an Agile Quality Assurance intern, you will be responsible for conducting system studies, preparing test cases, and executing tests using automated test tools. Your role will involve critiquing developments and reporting bugs to the development team, as well as auditing browser and device apps for quality. **Responsibilities:** - Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications using various testing techniques such as automation, manual, regression, and performance testing. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and customer support to ensure software products meet high-quality standards and customer needs. - Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Jenkins, and other open-source automation tools. - Design and maintain test environments, including setting up test data, configuring hardware and software, and ensuring the stability and security of the test environment. - Report and track software defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution of defects. - Analyze and communicate test results and progress to stakeholders, including development teams, product management, and senior leadership. - Continuously improve the testing process by implementing best practices, tools, and techniques to enhance test coverage and efficiency. - Participate in the Agile development process, including Sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - 1+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. - Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Jenkins, JMeter, and other open-source automation tools. - Familiarity with software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum and Waterfall. - Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaborative work with cross-functional teams. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Experience with version control tools like Git. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Ruby is a plus.,
