Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Manager in the garments industry, your role involves monitoring and ensuring product quality at every stage of production, including cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing. You will conduct both inline and final inspections of garments to guarantee they meet buyer specifications. Developing and implementing quality assurance procedures, standards, and guidelines will be crucial, along with identifying defects, analyzing root causes, and recommending corrective/preventive actions. It will be essential to collaborate with production, merchandising, and compliance teams to address quality issues effectively. Additionally, maintaining documentation of inspections, audit reports, and quality records, as well as training operators and line supervisors on quality standards and best practices, are significant responsibilities. Your role will require ensuring compliance with international quality standards, buyer requirements, and statutory regulations. You will also work closely with vendors and suppliers to uphold raw material quality and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce rework/rejections.
