Quality Assurance- Food Industry

You are responsible for ensuring the highest quality and safety standards for food products throughout the production process. This includes conducting regular inspections of raw materials, in-process food products, and finished goods to ensure they meet defined specifications. You will monitor production processes, equipment, and sanitation practices to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality regulations specific to food manufacturing. It is crucial to record and document inspection results accurately, maintaining up-to-date records of quality metrics and test data. Collaboration with production teams is essential to identify and address any quality issues promptly. You will be required to implement corrective and preventive actions when necessary. Additionally, you will contribute to the creation, maintenance, and updating of quality control procedures, aligning them with food industry standards and best practices. Participation in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and certification standards is also part of your role. Providing training and guidance to staff on food safety, quality assurance protocols, and regulatory compliance is another crucial aspect of this position. Qualifications for this role include a high school diploma or equivalent, with additional education or certification in quality control, food safety, or a related field being a plus. Prior experience in quality assurance or inspection within a food manufacturing environment is required. You should have familiarity with food safety regulations and experience in regulatory compliance.
