Quality Assurance Engineer

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases for software applications. Your role will involve collaborating with development teams to understand project requirements and specifications, performing functional, integration, regression, and performance testing, and identifying, recording, and tracking defects using defect tracking tools. Additionally, you will review requirements and specifications to ensure clarity and completeness, conduct tests manually and through automation, and work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance overall product quality. You will also be expected to implement and maintain automated test scripts, analyze test results, provide feedback to relevant stakeholders, participate in code reviews, and contribute to improving the testing process. Documenting testing processes, results, and best practices, ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards and methodologies, providing mentorship to junior QA team members, and staying updated on industry trends will be part of your responsibilities. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing. - Proven experience with test automation frameworks and tools. - Strong proficiency in SQL and database testing. - Experience with performance and load testing tools. - Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong verbal and written communication abilities. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality products. - Experience with API testing and tools like Postman. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript. - Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies quickly. - Experience mentoring junior staff preferred. - Certifications such as ISTQB or equivalent are a plus.,
