Quality Assurance Automation Tester

You will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing system specifications to understand testing requirements. You will design, develop, and execute test cases, both manual and automated, to ensure product quality. Your role will involve identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs or issues to resolution using bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on product design will be essential. You will perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing. Additionally, you will prepare detailed test reports, summaries, and logs for stakeholders, ensuring compliance with quality standards and best practices throughout the development lifecycle. To qualify for this position, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 2-4 years of experience in software testing or QA roles. Proficiency in testing tools like Selenium and Postman, as well as bug-tracking software, is required. A strong understanding of software development lifecycles and testing methodologies such as Agile and Scrum is essential. Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and good communication and teamwork abilities are also necessary. Preferred skills for this role include experience with API testing and performance testing tools like JMeter, familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or SQL for test scripting, and knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins or Git.
