Quality Assurance Automation Test Engineer

As an IT Quality Intermediate Analyst at the company, your role involves integrating in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. You will apply analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies, ensuring attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on factual information. Your role will have a moderate but direct impact through close contact with the core activities of the business. The quality and timeliness of service you provide will affect the effectiveness of your team and other closely related teams. **Responsibilities:** - Support initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production - Conduct a variety of moderately complex process monitoring, product evaluation, and audit assignments; report issues and make recommendations for solutions - Ensure project standards and procedures exist, are fully documented, and followed throughout the software development life cycle; make recommendations for enhanced documentation - Monitor products for conformance to standards and processes for conformance to procedures - Document findings and perform preliminary root cause analyses to provide recommended improvements - Ensure all corrective actions are assigned, documented, and completed - Verify traceability in project work products - Gather, maintain, and create reports on quality metrics - Provide informal guidance to new team members - Perform other duties and functions as assigned **Qualifications:** - 4-8 years Quality Assurance (QA) experience with Test automation in the Financial Service industry preferred - Experience in requirement reviews & able to identify, communicate, and document discrepancies - Understanding of QA within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies - Understanding of Quality Processes - Demonstrated logical analysis skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving - Proven ability to work to deadlines - Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - QA Experience in defining, designing & executing test cases If you are a person with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to use the search tools and/or apply for a career opportunity, review Accessibility at Citi.,
