Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Performance Testing

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading and executing automation testing efforts to ensure the highest quality of our software applications. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing automated test scripts for UI and API testing, designing robust automation frameworks using Java or C#, and creating Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks from scratch utilizing tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow. You will also be responsible for automating API testing using Rest Assured, designing comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases, as well as conducting performance testing using JMeter. Utilizing Git and Jenkins for version control and CI/CD processes will be essential, along with ensuring best coding practices for reusability, scalability, and maintainability in test automation. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements, monitoring and reporting test automation results, and participating in Agile environments by engaging in Scrum ceremonies are key aspects of this role. Continuous improvement of automation infrastructure and exploration of new tools and techniques will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 6 years of experience in QA Automation with a strong emphasis on UI and API automation. Proficiency in automation frameworks using Java or C#, experience in developing BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow, and hands-on expertise in API automation using Rest Assured are required. Additionally, you should possess a solid understanding of test strategy, planning, and execution, along with experience in performance testing using JMeter and proficiency in Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines. Preferred qualifications include experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) frameworks and knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
