Quality Assurance Analyst

As a QA Tester, your key responsibilities will include:
Defining Testing Objectives and Methodology Establish testing objectives and develop a methodology to achieve them. Align the test strategy with development requirements. Reviewing and Analyzing System Specifications and Test Procedures Analyze system specifications and develop comprehensive test procedures. Early Testing for Early Error Identification Conduct early testing of applications to identify errors early in the development process. Bug Reporting and Technical Problem Solving Report errors, document logs, and collaborate with the development team to resolve technical problems using bug-tracking tools. Perform root cause analysis of errors and defects. Debugging and Defect Fixation Execute debugging programs to fix defects and bugs. Designing and Executing Test Cases Design and execute test cases and evaluate their results. Testing Source Code and Post-Release Testing Conduct tests on source code and perform post-release testing. Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, business analysts, and project managers, to enhance quality and analyze business needs. Estimate testing efforts in collaboration with these teams. Test Data Management Identify test data needs and extract necessary test data . Performing Various Types of Testing Carry out regression, functional, system, integration, and smoke testing. Performance Monitoring and Measurement Monitor and measure performance using different tools. Ensuring Security Implementation Ensure security implementation to protect against malware attacks and cybercrime. Test Management Measure and manage testing activities using test management tools. Agile Team Collaboration Work as part of an Agile team, ensuring all User Stories have well-documented User Acceptance Criteria and that tests are executed within the iteration cycle. Collaborate closely with developers on detailed designs to derive test objectives. Focus attention on critical areas, probing and asking relevant questions to ensure thorough consideration of quality. Stakeholder Collaboration Collaborate with other stakeholders, including colleagues in Documentation, Development, QA, and User departments, to ensure comprehensive testing and quality Assurance. Core Competencies Degree in Computer Science or related field Experience in project management and QA approaches Familiarity with agile frameworks Working knowledge of testing tools Error documentation and debugging Test management software experience Ability to write test cases using testing techniques Analytical and problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills Written and oral communication skills Attention to detail Teamwork and critical thinking Capability for multitasking and priority setup Understanding of customer requirements
