Job Description

Role Overview: As a Pet Care Food Lab Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing pet food products to ensure they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with the product development and quality assurance teams to conduct tests, evaluate ingredient quality, and provide insights that enhance product formulations. Key Responsibilities: Conduct laboratory tests on pet food samples, including nutritional analysis, and ingredient quality assessments. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g., BIS, AAFCO, FDA). Document test results accurately and prepare detailed reports. Collaborate with product development teams to optimize formulations based on lab findings. Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable testing. Stay current with industry trends, research, and advancements in pet nutrition. Assist in troubleshooting quality issues and contribute to corrective action plans. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance lab techniques and methodologies. Qualifications: MSc in Chemistry /food science or a related field; Masters degree preferred. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in laboratory setting, preferably in food testing or pet nutrition.
