Job Description

As a Qualified Chartered Accountant at the Associate level in the Indirect Tax team, your role will focus on GST compliance, return filing, and litigation. You will work with a proactive and detail-oriented approach, ensuring adherence to GST regulations and providing excellent client service. Key Responsibilities: - Preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C. - Reconciliation of GSTR-2B/2A with books of accounts. - Compliance with e-invoicing and e-way bill requirements. - Coordinate with clients for data collection and resolve queries efficiently. - Draft replies to GST notices, audit queries, and SCNs. - Assist seniors in preparing appeals and representation documents. - Liaise with legal counsels and represent before tax authorities when necessary. - Conduct research on complex GST issues, circulars, and judicial pronouncements. - Support internal/external GST audits and due diligence assignments. - Assist in preparing tax advisory notes and presentations for clients. Preferred Background: - Articleship or prior experience in a CA firm or consulting firm handling GST matters. - Exposure to clients in manufacturing, services, or e-commerce sectors is a plus.
