QT / QML Architect

As a Lead Software Architect at our company, you will be a part of a dynamic research and development team dedicated to creating innovative laboratory equipment. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and implementing/improving GUI application framework features/widgets for various laboratory product families - Developing and supporting GUI, middleware, communications, and other necessary features for user interface applications - Collaborating with global cross-functional teams and interfacing with R&D vendors - Working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies in a Test Driven Development environment - Collecting, interpreting, and documenting system requirements - Participating in component, subsystem, and system concept design - Recommending methods, tools, and designs for software development process improvement - Utilizing your experience with Qt/QML or similar UI development language, Linux platform (or Android), C++, and design patterns - Demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills, debugging skills, and teamwork skills - Having awareness of FDA design control and process - Possessing a minimum of 5+ years of technical experience in UI architecture development and 8+ years of experience in modular S/W application architecture development for equipment Desired Skills: - SQL, schema, and database experience - Android UI development experience - Knowledge of XML and JSON - Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Git - Experience in working with agile development processes - Expertise in analytical instrument control software development - Software development per ISO13485 / IEC 62304 for medical devices Qualifications: - Minimum: Bachelors / Masters Degree in an Engineering Discipline or related field - Preferred: Electronics Engineering / Computer Science If you are a Senior Technical Architect with expertise in qml, qt, c++, Linux, Android, design patterns, sw application architecture development for equipment, FDA design control and process, XML, JSON, Android UI development, Git, TDD, UI libraries, qt / qml architect, and HMI software Widgets, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
