In this role you will be responsible for testing of world leading Grid Software products that enable the analysis and management of real-time data. The role focuses on developing and designing strong functional tests which feed into end-to-end automated tests for overall system testing within an Agile environment. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction. Roles and Responsibilities In this role, you will:Understand technical project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases Create smoke, sanity, functional and regression tests for UI and APIs Create high coverage test scenarios and go beyond acceptance criteria Contribute towards design and development of test automation framework Write UI and API automated tests and common automation utilities Contribute towards development and maintenance of CI/CD pipeline Assist in test data creation manually or programmatically Setup test environment manually and via auto-deployment pipeline Work with delivery and development teams and product owner to unblock test impediments Work with technical writers on documentation and maintain internal documentation Primary Skillset:Must have experience in manual API Testing and Web UI Testing Experience in Katalon Studio, Selenium/Java Rest Assured or any UI/API testing framework Secondary Skillset:Knowledge of any OOPs based programming or scripting language skills Knowledge of TestNG frameworks and Page Object Model Knowledge of database testing and data parsing Knowledge of testing in cloud-based infrastructure e.g., AWS/Azure/OpenStack/Browser Stack etc
