Requirement
QC Wet Lab Chemist
Qualification : Bsc/Msc Chemistry or B.Pharma
Experience : 1-3 years experience in pharmaceutical industry
Job Responsibilities
1. Wet Chemical Analysis
Perform routine wet lab analysis of:
Raw materials
In-process samples
Finished API products
Conduct tests such as:
Assay by titration
Identification tests
Loss on Drying (LOD)
Sulphated ash / Residue on Ignition
pH, clarity, solubility tests
Water content (Karl Fischer)
2. Documentation & Compliance
Test reports
Worksheets
Logbooks
Follow GDP (Good Documentation Practices) strictly
Review analytical results against specifications
3. Instrument Handling (Basic)
Operate and maintain basic QC instruments such as:
Analytical balance
pH meter
Hot air oven
Moisture analyzer
Melting point apparatus
Polarimeter
FTIR, UV spectrophotometer
Karl Fischer/Autotitrator
Ensure calibration status before use
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
