Position: QC Officer – Edible Oil Industry
Location: Gandhidham
Salary: ₹45,000/- per month
Experience: Minimum 3 years
Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry or relevant field)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Officer with relevant experience in the edible oil industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all products meet defined quality standards and comply with regulatory and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Conduct physical and chemical analysis of edible oils such as moisture, FFA, PV, IV, and other standard tests.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of lab results and quality records.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, and other regulatory standards.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Coordinate with the production team to resolve quality-related issues.
• Prepare and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and lab protocols.
• Monitor hygiene, cleanliness, and GMP practices across the plant.
• Participate in internal audits and support external inspections as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on QC experience in the edible oil or food manufacturing industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of lab instruments (GC, titration setup, etc.) and quality control methods.
• Good understanding of food safety and quality management systems.
