QC LINE INSPECTER

• Check dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish during machining operations as per the control plan.
• Perform inspection of the first piece from CNC machines before starting mass production.
• Operate and maintain precision measuring tools like Vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and CMM (if applicable).
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and machining standards accurately.
• Ensure that parts conform to specifications throughout the production run.
• Communicate quality issues and suggest corrective actions to operators or supervisors.
• Assist in monitoring tool wear and report abnormalities affecting part quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment per shop floor standards.
• Participate in investigation of defects using tools like 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, etc.
• Ensure all measuring equipment used is calibrated and within validity.
• Perform final quality checks before dispatch or moving parts to the next process.
