Key responsibilitiesInspection: Perform in-line and final inspections to check for defects such as incorrect stitching, size discrepancies, and poor fabric quality. Specification adherence: Ensure all products and materials comply with buyer specifications, technical packs, and quality standards. Material verification: Inspect incoming raw materials like fabric, trims, and accessories against trim cards and specifications. Process monitoring: Observe the entire manufacturing process, from cutting to finishing, to identify and correct quality issues. Documentation and reporting: Record inspection findings, document defects, and prepare reports for management, detailing problems and trends. Problem-solving: Collaborate with production, design, and merchandising teams to troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective actions. Sample approval: Assist in the approval process for samples, including size sets and pre-production meetings. Training: Train production staff on quality control concerns to improve overall product excellence. Qualifications and skillsEducation: A degree in Textile Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field is often preferred, though experience can be a substitute.
