QC Executive at Andheri West with ORRA Fine Jewellery

Brief Summary:

The Quality Control Executive at ORRA Fine Jewellery is responsible for conducting quality control checks on orders placed for highend Jewellery including diamonds, at the vendor's site. The Executive will follow defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and modules to ensure that all products meet the specified requirements. The role involves performing inspections, documenting findings, and communicating with the Quality Control Manager daily.

1. Conduct quality control checks at the vendor's site for orders placed for highend jewelry, including diamonds, according to defined SOPs/modules and checklist.
2. Inspect each product thoroughly to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
3. Document findings accurately, including any deviations or non-conformities observed during the quality control process.
4. Capture reasons for rejection of products, if applicable, and maintain detailed records for further analysis and improvement.
5. Seal and sign approved goods once they meet the quality requirements, ensuring proper packaging and labelling.
6. Communicate daily progress of quality control checks to the Quality Control Manager, highlighting any significant issues or delays.
7. Collaborate with vendors, production teams, and other stakeholders to resolve quality-related concerns and provide feedback on product improvements.
8. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper handling and storage of inspected goods.
9. Stay updated with industry trends, product specifications, and quality standards to enhance product knowledge and improve inspection accuracy.
10. Adhere to safety protocols and follow all relevant guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Skill Required:

1. Experience in jewelry quality testing for 3 years is preferred.
2. Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle quality issues in jewelry products.
3. Familiarity with quality control procedures, standards, and best practices.
4. Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
5. Good written and verbal communication skills for documenting findings and reporting progress to the Supervisor.
6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
7. Proficient computer skills to record and maintain quality control documentation.
