Job Description

QC Chemist

Key Responsibilities

Perform quality testing on raw materials, in‑process batches, and finished products using established SOPs and compendial
Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments (e.g., HPLC, GC, pH meter) and assist with IQ/OQ/PQ protocols pharmatutor.org
Accurately record test results and prepare reports; ensure data integrity and compliance with cGMP/GLP
Investigate deviations/OOS results, document root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions career.
Assist in drafting and reviewing SOPs, methods, and protocols; support audits and regulatory inspections
Collaborate with Production, R&D, and QA teams to ensure consistent quality and timely batch release.

Required Qualifications & Experience

B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field pharmatutor.org
1–5 years of relevant QC experience in pharmaceutical/formulation/API labs.
Hands‑on experience with analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, wet chemistry, etc.) and instrument maintenance
Solid knowledge of cGMP, GLP, and regulatory standards.

Core Competencies

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work in shifts and handle flexible hours if required.
Proficiency in MS Office and laboratory documentation systems pharmatutor.org+

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹164,510.64 - ₹456,423.64 per year
