Job Summary:

QA/QC Engineer – MEP

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor quality assurance & control procedures for MEP works in compliance with project requirements.
  
• Review and approve material submittals, method statements, ITPs (Inspection Test Plans), and work procedures.
  
• Conduct inspections of MEP installations (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, etc.) at various project stages.
  
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and clients for quality-related matters and approvals.
  
• Maintain records of inspections, test results, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and corrective actions.
  
• Ensure all MEP works comply with international standards, codes, and local regulations.
  
• Prepare QA/QC reports, inspection checklists, and documentation for project handover.
  
• Support project teams in resolving quality issues and implementing corrective & preventive measures.
  
• Conduct internal audits and ensure adherence to QMS (Quality Management System).
  

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of

  MEP systems

  (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting).
• Expertise in QA/QC procedures, codes, and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, IS codes, etc.).
  
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing method statements, ITPs, and test reports.
  
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  
• Good communication and coordination abilities with clients & consultants.
  

Qualification & Experience:

• Education:

  BE / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Diploma holders with strong experience may be considered).

• Experience:

  Minimum 2 years in QA/QC role within MEP contracting projects (preferably in industrial, commercial, or large-scale projects).
