QA & Testing Specialist CAD Automation Design Tools

Role Overview: As a Quality Assurance and Testing Engineer at the company, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, reliability, and performance of automated CAD design tools. Your role will involve developing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, validating tool functionality, and collaborating closely with the development team to resolve any issues that may arise. Key Responsibilities: - Develop comprehensive test cases and test plans for CAD automation design tools. - Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of the design tools. - Validate design tool functionality to ensure it meets specified requirements and design specifications. - Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools and methodologies. - Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation. - Perform regression testing to ensure new features and bug fixes do not negatively impact existing functionality. - Analyse test results and provide detailed reports on the quality, performance, and validation of the design tools. - Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA team. - Collaborate with users to gather feedback on software performance and usability and incorporate this feedback into the testing and development process. - Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, with 3 to 6 years of relevant experience. - Strong experience with 3D CAD modelling tools, specifically Creo Parametric. - Experience with CAD software and automation tools. - Strong understanding of QA methodologies. - Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks for both manual and automated testing. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Outstanding communication skills for effective collaboration with developers and end users across diverse regions and cultures. - Knowledge of programming languages as an added advantage. - Proficient in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines, with strong self-management skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in both spoken and written English language is required.,
