QA Tester Jr

As a Jr QA Automation Tester at our company located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, you will be an integral part of our team. We are looking for a skilled Selenium Developer with at least 1 year of experience to contribute to the establishment and maintenance of our test automation process. Your primary responsibilities will include developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API-based applications. You will collaborate closely with the development and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying, logging, and tracking bugs in coordination with the development team, as well as performing regression, functional, integration, and performance testing using automation tools. Your role will involve working with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing, analyzing test results, generating reports, and sharing insights with stakeholders. It will be essential to adhere to testing best practices and quality standards while continuously learning and adapting to new tools and technologies in the QA domain. To be successful in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 1 year of experience in QA Automation Testing. Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or similar frameworks is required, as well as a solid understanding of programming/scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript. Experience with API testing tools like Postman, Rest Assured, and SoapUI, familiarity with version control systems like Git, exposure to Agile methodologies, and tools like JIRA or Trello are also beneficial. Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, and knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter is a plus.
