QA Tester - Fresher

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic QA Fresher to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of software testing concepts and a keen interest in ensuring the quality of web/mobile applications. Key Responsibilities:

• Understand project requirements and write simple test cases
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and report bugs accurately
• Work closely with developers and designers to ensure product quality
• Perform basic functionality, UI, and regression testing
• Document and track defects in the bug-tracking system (e.g., JIRA)
• Learn and follow the QA processes and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or currently pursuing)
• Basic understanding of software development and testing life cycle (SDLC/STLC)
• Familiarity with manual testing concepts; knowledge of automation is a plus
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear communication and teamwork abilities
• Passion for learning and attention to detail

Nice to Have (Optional):

• Knowledge of any bug tracking tool (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
• Familiarity with web technologies or basic HTML/CSS
• Exposure to any automation tool (e.g., Selenium)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Chandigarh, Chandigarh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
