Role Overview: At Persistent, we are looking for a talented QA automation engineer to design testing procedures for our software applications. As a QA automation engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing application functionality, designing automated tests, identifying bugs, and collaborating with the software design team. Your role will involve meeting with the design team, sketching out test procedures, writing automation scripts, troubleshooting software, identifying quality issues, and creating test reports. Key Responsibilities: - Meet with the software design team to discuss verification protocols - Identify weaknesses in software applications and target areas for improvement - Sketch out ideas for automated software test procedures - Review software bug reports and highlight problem areas - Write automation scripts and implement software applications - Design and install software databases - Troubleshoot automation software and finalize system procedures - Identify quality issues and create detailed test reports - Collaborate with the design team to solve application faults Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Management, or Business Administration - 2+ years of experience with SQL, particularly MSSQL server and Oracle server - 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and software application testing - 3+ years of experience in writing automation test scripts - Proficiency in automated load testing tools - Strong interpersonal and analytical skills with a proven ability to work independently across various personality styles and types About Persistent: Persistent is an AI-led, platform-driven Digital Engineering and Enterprise Modernization partner that helps clients anticipate future trends and gain a competitive edge.
