QA QE Manual Automation

As a QA Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our web applications and microservices. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and executing manual and automated test cases. - Performing functional, regression, integration, and system testing for web applications and microservices. - Building and maintaining Selenium-based automation frameworks. - Collaborating with developers and product owners to understand requirements and acceptance criteria. - Ensuring proper test coverage through test plans, test scenarios, and traceability. - Identifying, logging, and tracking bugs; ensuring timely resolution with development teams. - Contributing to CI/CD pipeline test automation for faster, reliable releases. - Performing API and microservices testing using tools like Postman/RestAssured. - Implementing QA best practices for performance, scalability, and security testing where needed. - Providing clear test documentation and supporting UAT. Qualifications required for this role include: - Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts, processes, and best practices. - Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web automation. - Experience in testing REST APIs and microservices. - Proficiency in test case design, defect tracking, and bug lifecycle management. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). - Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. - Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.). - Good programming/scripting skills (Java, Python, or equivalent) for test automation. Additionally, the following skills would be nice to have: - Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave). - Experience with API automation (RestAssured, Postman Collections, Newman). - Exposure to performance testing (JMeter, Gatling). - Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). - Cloud testing experience (AWS).
