QA - QC Engineer

As a QA-QC Engineer in the Quality department based in Ahmedabad, your main role will involve ensuring the quality of Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) by having full knowledge of its ingredients, design mix, various types of cement, RMC grades, and testing parameters. Your responsibilities will include: - Regular inspection & testing of incoming materials required for RMC - Maintaining & managing QC equipment and plant machinery calibration - Proficiency in preparing the most cost-effective concrete mix design - Inspecting the quality and storage of materials received at the plant - Conducting Trial Mix of all types of concrete under the supervision of the quality in-charge - Maintaining lab/field test reports - Coordinating daily with clients/consultants for material selection, testing, and mix design approval - Ensuring material quality checks and compliance with quality parameters - Documenting the testing process and reports of materials & final product Qualification Required: - B.E. or Diploma or B.Tech in Civil Engineering Experience: - 3-10 years in high-rise building construction - Prior contractor firm experience as QA-QC Engineer in building projects Additional Details: You should be based out of Ahmedabad only. In this role, you will work full-time with a permanent job type, day shift schedule, and a yearly bonus. You must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Ahmedabad, Gujarat before starting work.
