Key Result Areas And Activities

• Data Quality Assurance: Develop and implement data quality standards and processes. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure data integrity. Identify and resolve data discrepancies in collaboration with data teams.
• Software Testing & Validation: Create and execute detailed test plans and test cases for data validations. Validate data accuracy, transformation logic, and performance of reporting tools. Perform functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Process Improvement: Continuously refine QA processes to align with evolving project needs. Troubleshoot issues and adapt testing strategies accordingly.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of QA processes, test results, and issue logs. Provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with developers, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
  

Work And Technical Experience

Must Have Skills

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience in testing Python-based applications
• Solid knowledge of SQL and working with large datasets.
• Good knowledge on using Excel and Advanced Excel for validation
• Ability to define QA strategies and ensure end-to-end quality ownership
• Exposure to automation testing concepts and tools (e.g., Selenium, PyTest) for future scalability
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to design and execute comprehensive test cases
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
  

Good To Have Skill

• Proficiency in data validation and testing of statistical or ML models.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell) for automation.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and architecture.
• Familiarity with ETL processes, data pipelines, and APIs.
• Exposure to PowerBI.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in QA roles with a focus on data and BI testing.
• Relevant certifications in QA, data engineering, or BI tools are a plus.
