Job Description

Core Expertise Automation Tools : Selenium (with Java), BDD (Cucumber), TestNG, Playwright Programming Languages : Java, Python Testing Types : Manual and Automated Testing Test Processes : Test case creation, test execution, defect tracking, and regression testing DevOps & CI/CD : Continuous Testing, Integration, and Delivery (CI/CD pipelines) Key Responsibilities Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective test cases. Develop, execute, and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright. Work closely with developers and other stakeholders in an Agile development environment . Enable Continuous Testing as part of the CI/CD lifecycle to ensure consistent quality delivery. Design and implement resilient and scalable automation solutions using Java or Python. Execute comprehensive manual testing when needed to validate functionality, performance, and usability. Perform technical troubleshooting and assist in root cause analysis of defects or performance bottlenecks. Identify inefficiencies in test processes and implement improvements through automation or process optimization. Technical Skills Languages : Java (strong), Python (preferred), SQL (querying and analysis) Automation Tools : Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, TestNG, Cucumber (BDD) Platforms : UNIX/Linux AI/ML Tools : Basic knowledge of AI tools like ChatGPT for test case generation or requirement analysis Data Analysis : Analyze test data, log files, and system behavior to identify trends or issues Version Control : Git or similar tools for code repository management CI/CD Tools : Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar for automated build/test/deployment Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional Agile team Strong written and verbal communication for reporting, documentation, and team interactions Qualifications Proven experience in automation and manual testing Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) Familiarity with software development best practices Exposure to AI tools like ChatGPT is a plus
