QA (Manual + Automation)

As a QA Engineer (Manual + Automation) at our company located in Ahmedabad, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web/mobile applications through meticulous testing and automation. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing. - Performing functional, regression, integration, API, UI, and end-to-end testing. - Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using tools like Jira or similar. - Developing and maintaining automation scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar. - Creating test data and environments to simulate real-world scenarios. - Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and UX designers to ensure quality across the SDLC. - Performing root cause analysis and contributing to continuous quality improvement. - Participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - 2+ years of experience in both manual and automation testing. - Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, or similar). - Experience with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured. - Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data validation. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI is a plus. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred skills that would be beneficial for this role include: - Experience with mobile app testing (Android/iOS). - Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
