Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated QA Intern to join our engineering team. The intern will assist in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications by executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with developers and product teams.

This role is ideal for candidates who want hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance within a real-world product development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand product requirements, user flows, and acceptance criteria
• Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications
• Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
• Verify bug fixes and ensure issue closure
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to improve product quality
• Assist in creating and maintaining test cases and test documentation
• Participate in sprint reviews and QA discussions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC
• Familiarity with web applications and basic API concepts
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Good to Have (Optional)

• Basic knowledge of tools like Postman, JIRA, or similar bug-tracking tools
• Understanding of REST APIs
• Exposure to automation testing concepts
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
