QA Engineer (UI & API Automation)

As a QA Engineer at the company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the SaaS CRM Platform designed for the Study Abroad & EdTech industry. Your attention to detail and passion for delivering bug-free applications will be essential in meeting user expectations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI testing using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, and API testing with tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate. - Create and execute comprehensive end-to-end test plans, test cases, and test scripts. - Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure the platform's stability and reliability. - Collaborate closely with development teams to identify and address bugs in a timely manner. - Establish and upkeep CI/CD-integrated automated testing frameworks for efficient testing processes. - Utilize Azure Boards for effective test planning, bug tracking, and task management. - Uphold testing best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. - Participate in code reviews and Pull Request (PR) reviews specifically for test automation. **Required Skills & Experience:** - Proficiency in UI Automation Testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. - Experience in API Automation Testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate. - Strong command of JavaScript / TypeScript or any programming language suitable for automation purposes. - Thorough understanding of Testing Frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine. - Ability to write and execute REST API test cases effectively. - Hands-on experience with Git version control including branching, merging, and PR processes. - Familiarity with Azure Boards for streamlined test planning and bug tracking. - Knowledge of Agile methodologies for efficient project execution. - Prior experience working with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests for continuous improvement.,
