Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicatedQA Engineer to join our dynamic Agile team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software deliverables by designing and executing both manual and automated test cases. As an Agile Tester, you will collaborate closely with development teams and other stakeholders, manage test plans and schedules, and help enforce testing processes that align with our quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Test Design & Execution :Develop and execute manual and automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance. Ensure that all software is thoroughly tested and validated before release.Test Automation :Implement, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts, improving test coverage, efficiency, and reliability.Agile Collaboration :Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews) to ensure that testing is integrated into the development process and aligned with project goals.Quality Assurance Process Ownership :Own the end-to-end quality assurance process, including test planning, execution, and reporting, and ensure that processes meet external stakeholder expectations, particularly for main software releases.Bug Tracking & Reporting :Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues. Ensure that the development team is aware of the most critical bugs that may impact release deadlines.Testing Schedule & Coordination :Coordinate testing efforts, ensuring all test milestones are met within Agile sprint cycles. Monitor and report testing progress regularly to ensure timely and successful releases.Stakeholder Communication :Effectively communicate testing results, risks, and issues to both internal and external stakeholders. Provide detailed reporting on test coverage, pass\/fail rates, and defect status.Continuous Improvement :Collaborate with the team to constantly improve test strategies, tools, and processes, ensuring that testing is optimized for speed, efficiency, and effectiveness.Required skills & Experience:Proven experience as a QA Engineer or Agile Tester in an Agile\/Scrum environment.Strong experience with both manual and automated testing (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting.Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices for testing within Agile teams.Ability to design, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA processes.Familiarity with version control and continuous integration tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, etc.).Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
