Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and skilled QA Engineer (QA2) with strong hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of web and API-based applications by designing robust test cases, identifying defects, and maintaining automated test suites.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand requirements and prepare detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing (both manual and automated).
Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Selenium with Java or Python.
Perform API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure test coverage and quality.
Participate in defect triage meetings and provide root cause analysis.
Ensure timely and high-quality releases through continuous testing and feedback.

Required Skills:

5+ years of overall experience in Quality Assurance with strong proficiency in manual and automation testing.
Solid hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java or Python.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing life cycle, and test management.
Experience in test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or similar.
Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools
Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

Exposure to performance or security testing.
Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
