Role Overview: As a QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Katalon Studio. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements, defining test strategies, performing end-to-end functional, regression, and integration testing, and analyzing test results to identify bugs for resolution. Additionally, you will be creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports while ensuring timely execution of test cycles and supporting agile/scrum development processes. Your contribution to the development of QA best practices and process improvements will be highly valued. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Katalon Studio. - Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies. - Perform end-to-end functional, regression, and integration testing. - Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks. - Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with the development team for resolution. - Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports. - Ensure timely execution of test cycles and support agile/scrum development processes. - Contribute to the development of QA best practices and process improvements. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Strong hands-on experience with Katalon Studio. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy, Java, or JavaScript. - Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar. - Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA. - Good knowledge of API testing and web services. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience Required: - Java: 5 years - Katalon: 5 years Additional Company Details: The job type is contractual/temporary with a contract length of 6 - 12 months. The work mode is onsite in Chennai. Preferred Qualifications: - ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications. - Experience in testing web and mobile applications. - Knowledge of performance testing tools is a plus.
