QA Engineer - Katalon

As a QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation, your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Katalon Studio. - Collaborating with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies. - Performing end-to-end functional, regression, and integration testing. - Maintaining and enhancing test automation frameworks. - Analyzing test results, identifying bugs, and working with the development team to ensure resolution. - Creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports. - Ensuring timely execution of test cycles and supporting agile/scrum development processes. - Contributing to the development of QA best practices and process improvements. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Strong hands-on experience with Katalon Studio. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy, Java, or JavaScript. - Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar. - Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA. - Good knowledge of API testing and web services. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Additional Company Details: The job type is contractual/temporary with a contract length of 6 - 12 months. The work mode is onsite in Chennai.
