QA Engineer (Hybrid Role)

As a motivated QA Engineer with both manual and automation skills, you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products at Kaseya. This hybrid role will allow you to influence testing processes, collaborate across various projects, and contribute to the development of a reliable automation framework. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform manual functional and integration testing to ensure product quality. - Utilize test design techniques to achieve comprehensive test coverage. - Create and maintain test documentation including test cases, checklists, and bug reports. - Use browser tools to investigate and diagnose issues effectively. - Write clear and reproducible defect reports for efficient issue resolution. - Conduct API testing and validate databases using SQL queries. - Develop and maintain automated tests using C#. - Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA team members to uphold product quality standards. - Estimate testing efforts and actively contribute to test planning. - Engage in enhancing QA processes and tools to improve overall efficiency. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum 3 years of experience in manual testing encompassing functional and integration testing. - Solid understanding of software testing theory and proficient in test design techniques. - Hands-on experience with test documentation practices. - Familiarity with task tracking tools such as Jira or similar. - Knowledge of CI/CD and testing tools like Git, Jenkins, Postman, Airflow, or similar. - Previous exposure to documentation platforms like Confluence or similar. - Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write simple queries. - Experience in API testing. - Automation experience using C# for test development and execution. - Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely. - Attention to detail, accountability, and the capability to work independently. - Flexible mindset to adapt to various projects and tasks effectively.
