Manual + Automation QA Engineer (SaaS Product) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with expertise in both manual and automation testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our SaaS product . The ideal candidate will work closely with development teams to design, implement, and execute test strategies, ensuring a seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manual Testing: Analyze business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test plans and test cases . Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing on web and mobile applications. Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA (or equivalent bug tracking tool) . Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing for compatibility. Validate API responses using tools like Postman . 2. Automation Testing: Develop and maintain test automation frameworks for web and API testing ( Selenium ). Automate UI, API, and performance test cases to ensure scalability. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) . Write reusable test scripts and ensure proper version control using Git . 3. Performance & Security Testing (Nice to have): Use JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6 for performance testing. Collaborate with security teams for vulnerability assessments using OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite . 4. Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to improve the testing process. Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) . Provide clear test reports, defect analysis, and quality metrics . Required Skills & Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in manual and automation testing for a SaaS product . Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Playwright . Good knowledge of API testing (Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI) . Experience with test case management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, Xray) . Understanding of CI/CD processes and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) . Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment . Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills: Experience with Mobile Testing (Appium, Detox, Espresso, XCUITest) . Knowledge of SQL for database testing . Exposure to performance testing (JMeter, k6, LoadRunner) . ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
