QA Engineer, AVP

As a QA Engineer with Scrum Master and DevOps expertise, your role will be to facilitate Agile practices, ensure high-quality deliverables through effective QA processes, gather and translate business requirements, and contribute to DevOps and release management. You will play a pivotal role in fostering team collaboration and driving successful project outcomes. Your key responsibilities will include Scrum Master duties where you will facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensure the team follows Agile practices, remove impediments, and foster a collaborative team environment. In terms of Quality Assurance (QA), you will create detailed test scenarios, execute test cases, and identify, document, and track bugs. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders for Business Analysis (BA) tasks, translate business needs into technical requirements, and assist in maintaining product backlogs. Your role will also involve contributing to DevOps and Release Management, ensuring environment stability, managing change requests, and facilitating smooth deployment and integration of new releases. You will be expected to promote team collaboration, open communication, transparency, and support team members" professional growth and development. To excel in this position, you should have 4-8 years of relevant experience in QA, BA, and DevOps roles with a strong background in QA, including creating test scenarios, executing test cases, and tracking bugs. You should also have experience in business analysis tasks, translating business needs into technical requirements, and user stories. Additionally, you should have proven experience as a Scrum Master, understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework, proficiency in SQL queries, and experience with Python/Java scripting, Cucumber framework, Selenium, and familiarity with DevOps practices and tools. Strong logical and analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, quick understanding of end-to-end system knowledge, and good communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
