Job Description: - Demonstrated proficiency in Web Service Concepts, Java script and/or Java, JSON/XML. - Skilled in using tools like Postman or similar for testing purposes. - Ability to create and maintain test automation frameworks and develop automated test scripts. - Proficient in test automation tools such as Selenium, Karate framework, or similar. - Strong background and experience in manual testing concepts, methodologies, and SDLC models. Responsibilities: - Analyze application/testing requirements and implement automation solutions for testing. - Research and explore new tools as needed and acquire hands-on experience. - Design, develop, maintain, and execute automation scripts. - Build and manage automation frameworks, libraries, and tool interfaces. - Analyze test execution results and generate reports. - Collaborate with program/project managers, business analysts, developers, testers, and product owners to ensure timely test automation activities. - Hands-on experience in Selenium or API automation. - Work in an Agile, Incremental & Iterative, Scrum environment. - Familiarity with TDD/BDD frameworks like Cucumber, Karate, jBehave, or Specflow. - Proven experience in integration, functional, and regression testing. - Identify testing process gaps and propose/implement enhancements. - Ability to think innovatively and implement creative solutions. - Strong problem-solving, logical, and analytical skills. - Communication with Development Team and relevant stakeholders for defect resolution. - Provide test results and inputs for creating Test Report and Test Sign-off documentation. Experience Required: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Testing Applications and desktop Web/Enterprise Applications. Must-Have Skills: - Proficiency in Selenium or Karate, Java, Cucumber, Jenkins, Database, API Testing (Manual). - Knowledge of revision control software (e.g., SVN, Git, etc.).
