QA- Eng II/ Lead QA

As an engineer joining the software quality assurance team for the Platform Orchestration product, your role will involve working on software that utilizes leading-edge technologies and integration frameworks. Your responsibilities will include providing leadership to the QA team, guiding automation architecture, and ensuring software quality assurance input to project plans and schedules. You will also be involved in code reviews, maintaining formal documentation, and supporting other QA staff in dealing with test challenges. Your expertise in JavaScript programming, test automation, API integration testing, and front-end automation will be crucial in enhancing the automation framework and executing test scenarios effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Provide leadership to the QA team and guide automation architecture and best practices. - Offer software quality assurance input to project plans, schedules, and software designs. - Perform code reviews of test scripts to ensure maintainability and scalability. - Own the quality strategy for APIs & canvas heavy UI features automation from story grooming to final release validation. - Interface with Dev and DevOps to integrate automation into release pipelines. - Create and maintain formal documentation throughout all stages of test development and execution. - Support other QA staff in the team when addressing test challenges and technical issues related to testing approaches. - Investigate and recreate problems, finding solutions for users to continue their work. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 4-8 years of experience in software quality engineering for QA Eng-II or 8-12 years for QA Lead Eng. - Expert-level JavaScript programming knowledge and proficiency in languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java. - Prior experience with API integration testing and front-end automation using WebDriverIO(WDIO). - Exposure to tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Cypress. - Ability to identify, estimate, develop, and execute test scenarios with a quality-driven work ethic and attention to detail. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Please note that experience in automating canvas-based elements and familiarity with test management tools such as qTest and the Angular UI framework are preferred but not mandatory for this role.,
