Job Description

Role Overview: You will be a Lead Software Engineer in the Enterprise Switching organization at Cisco. Your work will involve developing and integrating products for large enterprises utilizing Cisco's Switching technology. Your role will be crucial in providing networking equipment that supports offices, hospitals, educational institutions, and financial organizations. You will collaborate with a dynamic technical community to innovate on next-gen technology and mentor colleagues. Key Responsibilities: - Understand software system specifications and develop sophisticated test plans - Utilize strong programming knowledge in Python/C/C++, git, AI/ML for developing modular and scalable automation - Implement CI/CD, Jenkins, Test-driven development, and Test as a service approach for flexible and modular automation - Experience in configuring and fixing Protocols such as ISIS/OSPF, BGP, L2/L3 VPN, EVPN, Segment Routing, IPv6, MPLS-LDP/RSVP-TE, Multicast, SNMP, Telemetry, gNMI, gRPC, Netconf & OpenConfig Yang Models - Bring 1-3 years of proven experience as a software test engineer in computer networking Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (MS preferred) Additional Company Details: Cisco is committed to creating an inclusive future for all through its diverse workforce and focus on unlocking potential.
