Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Tester with 4 to 6 years of experience in Functional automation testing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Selenium, functional testing, performance testing, API testing and experience with JIRA for tracking issues and managing test cases. Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium with Python
Conduct functional testing to ensure applications meet specified requirements.
Perform performance testing to evaluate application responsiveness and stability.
Perform API testing to validate the functionality, reliability, and performance of APIs to ensure seamless system integration and early defect detection.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software.
Knowledge on QA documentation like test plans, test cases and test closure reports
Analyze test results, identify defects, and provide feedback to the development team.
Utilize JIRA for issue tracking, managing test cases, and reporting testing progress.
Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Technical Skills

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4 to 6 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation, API and Performance testing.
Proficiency in Selenium and experience with other automation tools.
Strong knowledge of functional testing, API testing and hands on performance testing tools like Apache Jmeter.
Familiarity with JIRA for project management, Test Management and bug tracking.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Solid understanding of the financial domain, with experience in testing financial applications.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Certification in QA or software testing

Nice-to-have skills

Qualifications

7-9 years of work experience in relevant field
B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech or MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer science background is preferred
