Role & responsibilities

• Learn to provide solutions to problems without relying on direction from others
• Understanding how to influence others to proactively resolve issues
• Provide time and resource estimates that are accurate and result in on-schedule delivery of work items
• Mentor team members
• Review test scripts
• Understand gaps in the code and how to optimize
• Perform feasibility study on automation tools and recommend to client
• Provide pros and cons of tools to be used
• Involve in presales and creating demos
• Recommend best practices

Preferred candidate profile

• Should be Responsible for identifying the functional gaps/conflicts and for reporting them.
• Hands on experience in prioritizing tasks to ensure smooth flow.
• Responsible to adopt a process to monitor progress, review work and ensure timely delivery.
• Responsible for maintaining the process change for improving the output and streamline the work.
• Train the QA team for new features and for best practices and technologies.
• Responsible for training the team for improving their skill set
• Responsible for leading the client meetings and internal meetings.
• Proficient in creating and maintaining test metrics for better visibility.
• Identify the risk involved with all matters related to QA testing and quality assurance and escalate for better results.
• Very good interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and written & verbal communication skills
• Experience in more than 1 programming language like Java, C#, Python
• Hands on experience in Automation tools like Selenium, WDIO etc
• Experience in implementing frameworks like Data driven, keyword driven, Hybrid, Page object model etc
• Experience on IDEs like Eclipse, IntelliJ
• Experience in working with CI / CD tools like Jenkins
• Hands on Source control tools like GIT
• Experience working with Databases (SQL Server, Oracle etc.)
• Experience on mobile automation or API automation
