Job Description

Design and implement robust automation frameworks using
Java, Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber
.
Develop and execute
BDD test scenarios
using
Gherkin syntax
.
Perform
API testing
using
REST Assured
and validate responses against expected outcomes.
Integrate automated tests into
CI/CD pipelines
using tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, or similar.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to ensure test coverage and quality.
Write and optimize
SQL queries
for backend validation and data integrity checks.
Participate in code reviews, defect triage, and root cause analysis.
Maintain and enhance existing automation suites and ensure scalability and reusability.

Required Skills:

Strong programming skills in
Java
.
Hands-on experience with
Selenium WebDriver
,
TestNG
, and
Cucumber
.
Proficiency in
BDD frameworks
and writing feature files.
Experience with
REST Assured
for API testing.
Good understanding of
DevOps practices
and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Git).
Strong knowledge of
SQL
and relational databases.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.
Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
ISTQB or similar QA certifications.
