QA Automation Engineer

As an Automation QA Engineer at Seasia Infotech, a CMMi5 certified company specializing in Software Development, Mobile Application Development, and Digital Marketing services, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts. By collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, you will ensure comprehensive test coverage based on project requirements. Your responsibilities will include executing automated test cases, analyzing results, and accurately reporting defects to enhance code quality and prevent bugs early in the development cycle. Additionally, you will actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to contribute to the overall success of the projects. To excel in this role, you must possess expertise in Web Automation using Selenium WebDriver with Java and Mobile Automation using Appium for both Android and iOS platforms, on simulators/emulators and real devices. Proficiency in frameworks such as TestNG, Cucumber, and various reporting tools like Extent Report, TestNG Report, Allure, and Cucumber Report is essential. Familiarity with build tools like Maven, Gradle, version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, AWS CodePipeline, among others, will be advantageous. Your soft skills, including strong problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, clear communication, and effective teamwork in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments, will be key to your success in this role. Moreover, having scripting knowledge in JavaScript or Python, exposure to cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack, LambdaTest, Sauce Labs, and an ISTQB or similar certification are desirable qualifications.
