QA Analyst / Test Engineer

We are looking for a skilled QA Analyst / Test Engineer with over 3 years of experience in the banking domain, particularly in Finacle - Trade finance, letter of credit, Bank Guarantee. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in testing Finacle modules related to liabilities and assets, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions for banking products. As a QA Analyst or Test Engineer, you will collaborate closely with both business and technical teams to conduct comprehensive testing of banking applications and their associated modules. Your key responsibilities will include assisting in the development and execution of test strategies, plans, and scenarios for Finacle modules, creating detailed test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications, executing manual and automated tests, logging defects, performing functional and integration testing, participating in regression testing, reporting test progress and results, collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing to process improvements within the testing framework. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in QA testing within the banking domain, with a strong understanding of banking operations related to Finacle - Trade finance, letter of credit, Bank Guarantee modules. Proficiency in manual testing for core banking systems like Finacle, experience in test case design and execution, familiarity with defect tracking tools, and exposure to test management tools are essential. Knowledge of Agile methodologies, strong communication skills, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related fields are required. Possession of relevant ISTQB certification would be advantageous. Desirable skills for this role include exposure to automation tools such as Selenium or QTP, understanding of banking regulations and compliance standards relevant to Finacle - Trade finance, letter of credit, Bank Guarantee, and experience working with Finacle upgrades, patches, and migrations.
