QA Analyst AR/VR & 3D Simulations

You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for AR/VR applications and 3D simulations. This includes performing functional, regression, performance, and usability testing across various platforms such as PC, mobile, HMDs, and more. Your role will involve identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs utilizing tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar software. Collaboration with developers, 3D artists, designers, and project managers is crucial to ensure the quality of applications. Validation of 3D interactions, animations, spatial accuracy, and immersive UX/UI behavior will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will conduct compatibility and hardware testing on devices like Oculus/Meta Quest, HTC Vive, HoloLens, and mobile AR platforms. Providing clear and actionable feedback on technical issues and user experience problems is essential. Furthermore, you will assist in creating and maintaining automated test scripts and QA pipelines when applicable. Participation in sprint planning, reviews, and daily standups is necessary to remain aligned with project goals. An ability to learn and adapt to game engines like Unity for profiling, debugging, and testing frameworks is expected. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 3 years of QA experience in software or interactive application testing. Hands-on experience in testing AR/VR applications or 3D simulations is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail are essential. Familiarity with testing practices for spatial computing and immersive environments is preferred. An understanding of 3D content and behavior, including interactions, collisions, and physics, is beneficial. Experience with bug tracking and test case management tools such as Jira and TestRail would be advantageous.,
