Payment Posting -

• Accurately post

  insurance and patient payments

  (EOBs, ERAs) into EPIC and/or AMD systems.
• Reconcile daily deposits with posted amounts to ensure

  accurate financial reporting

  .
• Identify and resolve

  posting discrepancies

  , duplicate payments, or payment errors.
• Apply

  adjustments, write-offs

  , and manage

  refunds

  per payer guidelines and internal policies.
• Handle

  denials related to payments

  and escalate to AR or denial management teams as needed.
• Maintain documentation of all posting activities for audit purposes.

Demo and charge entry -

• Enter and update

  patient demographic details

  (name, DOB, address, contact, insurance info) in EPIC and AMD software accurately.
• Validate patient information to ensure

  clean claim submission

  .
• Manage

  insurance verification

  updates when required.
• Identify and correct errors in patient data proactively.

• nput

  medical charges

  into the billing software based on coding sheets or encounter forms.
• Assign appropriate

  CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS

  codes based on provider documentation.
• Ensure timely and accurate

  charge capture

  to avoid claim rejections or payment delays.
• Cross-check coding and billing data with insurance rules for

  compliance and accuracy

  .
• Collaborate with coding and AR teams to address discrepancies.

• Utilize

  EPIC

  and

  AdvancedMD (AMD)

  & Other Softwares efficiently for all billing functions.
• Maintain

  workflow accuracy

  across modules: Payment Posting, Charge Entry, Demographics.
• Generate and work on system reports for reconciliation and performance tracking.
  
• Keep up-to-date with changes in the software and implement best practices.
