Job Description

Role & responsibilities • Should have 3 - 5 years of work experience as a Python Developer. • Expertise in databases (like SQLite and/or MySQL). • Expert in writing python scripts. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. • Expertise in at least one popular Python web framework ( like Django and/or Flask ). • Fair understanding of building RESTful APIs (like Django REST and /or Flask REST) • Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries (like SQLAlchemy and/or Django ORM). • Good knowledge on Data structures/Algorithms and System design principles . • Should be able to take ownership of a product end-to-end. • Good Team spirit. • Zeal to learn new technologies and implement them independently. • Manage code documentation and version control (like Github). • Work in an agile environment to release software on a regular schedule. • Coordinating with development teams to determine application requirements. • Coordinating with the support team for fixing the user issues on request. • Writing scalable code using Python programming language. • Testing and debugging applications manually and using automated unit test framework (like Pytest and/or Pyunit and/or Unittest) • Developing back-end components. • Integrating user-facing elements using server-side logic. • Assessing and prioritizing client feature requests. • Integrating data storage solutions. • Coordinating with front-end developers. • Reprogramming existing applications/databases to improve functionality. Good to have: • Knowledge of the data backup domain is an advantage. • Knowledge of Virtualization, Data Protection methods, and data movement to and from public and private clouds.
