Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust backend services and APIs using Python.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, product managers) to define, design, and ship new features.
Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices (including unit testing, CI/CD, and version control).
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship, and guide junior developers.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
Integrate data storage solutions like relational and NoSQL databases.
Implement security and data protection best practices.
Document software and processes thoroughly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
6-9 years of experience in backend development using Python.
Proficiency in at least one Python web framework (Django, Flask, FastAPI, etc.).
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and RESTful API design.
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a strong plus.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and source control tools (Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
