Job Description

As a Senior Python Quantitative Developer at our product-driven fintech company, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying high-performance algorithmic trading solutions. Your expertise in Python and quantitative skills will be put to the test in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. Your responsibilities will span the entire lifecycle of trading algorithms, from research and modeling to production deployment and monitoring. Key Responsibilities: - Research, design, and implement quantitative trading algorithms. - Develop robust simulation environments and performance attribution models. - Build and optimize low-latency execution systems using Python, APIs, and WebSocket data feeds. - Integrate cloud-based infrastructure for scalable computation, storage, and real-time analytics. - Apply machine learning and statistical models for signal generation, anomaly detection, and predictive analytics. - Conduct data engineering, including web scraping and processing large structured/unstructured datasets. - Monitor live algorithms, ensuring risk controls, fail-safes, and accurate reporting. - Collaborate with quants, data scientists, and engineers to bridge research and production. - Document research, codebases, and models for transparency and reproducibility. Qualifications Required: - 3+ years in Python development and quantitative analysis. - Proficiency in Python libraries: NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch. - Strong knowledge of time-series analysis, econometrics, and statistical modeling. - Experience with REST/WebSocket APIs and real-time data processing. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for distributed computing. - Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and CI/CD pipelines. - Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills: - Exposure to C++/Rust/Go for performance-critical components. - Knowledge of parallel computing, GPU acceleration, and alternative data sources (news sentiment, satellite data, web-scraped data). - Experience with machine learning pipelines for predictive modeling in finance.
